We are specialists in supplying and transforming both sound and thermal insulation. With acoustic insulation, you reduce ambient noise from outside, but less noise also comes out of a vehicle. Thus, the vehicle causes less nuisance to its surroundings. In addition, more and more machines and vehicles are becoming electric. These machines also need insulation. This is done with thermal insulation. Because of this shift towards electrification of machines, there is an increasing need for this. At Potijk, you can find both sound and thermal insulation tailored to your needs.
The insulation we supply is made of (self-adhesive) polyurethane and polyethylene foam, with various top layers. These top layers, such as PU film and water- and oil-repellent materials, are specially designed for use in engine compartments. The material is mainly supplied in sheets and rolls, but on the basis of dxf and pdf drawings, we are also happy to cut to size for you.
An example of our customers requiring a product related to acoustics are manufacturers throughout Europe of earth-moving and agricultural vehicles, roll-on roll-off trucks, sweepers, forklifts, enclosures, cabs and engine covers.
Based on CNC-controlled cutting machines, we cut all types of insulation to size. In addition, this cutting machine allows for depth cutting, angle cutting and milling. This way, the product is fully customised and always fits well in the end product, such as a bonnet or cab.
If you wish, we package all parts to form a set. This way, you will receive the finished product in several sets.
